THE BRIDGE
God's Remedy For Mankind

"All the remedies are ready to save men from eternal death, and they despise the Blood, and have trampled It under the feet of their disordinate affection; and it is for this injustice and false judgment that the world is reproved, and will be reproved on the Last Day of Judgment."

- the Dialogue

St. Catherine of Siena was born March 25th, 1347 in Siena, Italy.  At an early age Catherine dedicated herself to spiritual life.  She became a member of a Dominican lay monastic order, and was known for her holiness and service to the poor and suffering.  Late in her relatively short life she became involved with broader Church affairs at the invitation of the Pope.  Catherine’s writings, which were all dictated, include hundreds of letters and 4 treatises that are known as The Dialogue.  The inspired treatises that comprise The Dialogue reveal the critical role of self-knowledge in man’s relationship with God, and they convey God’s loving efforts to secure the salvation of souls.  Pope Pius II wrote of her, "Her knowledge came down to her from heaven."

The Bridge: God's Remedy for Mankind is a multimedia presentation of the critical communication given by God to St. Catherine of Siena.  Extracts from her book,  combined with music and visuals, bring the words to life and tell the story of salvation: Mankind's fall from relationship with God, the alienated state of man, and how we can respond to the remedy that God has provided for us.
